Nigel Bailey offers the combination of long term experience and cutting edge technology in his Coastal Orange County, California real estate practice.  Having entered the real estate business in 1963 and having worked continuously in the field since, he has kept abreast of the never ending kaleidoscope of change and innovation that has characterized the real estate brokerage business in recent years.

Nigel joined the Newport Harbor-Costa Mesa Board of Realtors (now the Orange Coast Association of Realtors) in 1967, leaving a 4year initial real estate experience of selling subdivision homes for John D. Lusk and Son and Deane Homes, two of the most prestigious and innovative home builders of that period.

Nigel has served the Association of Realtors as Program Chairman, Membership Chairman, Treasurer and Chairman of the Nominating Committee as well as having served on the Board of Directors.

Having qualified for a Brokers License early in his real estate career Nigel established Nigel Bailey and Associates-Real Estate at 2732 E. Coast Highway in Corona del Mar, and for 22 years worked as office owner/manager having successfully personally assisted hundreds of sellers and buyers to achieve their real estate objectives in an efficient and painless manner, as well as manage up to 10 salespeople in his employ.  One long time customer recently closed his 45th transaction with Nigel.

In 1991 Nigel closed the coast Highway office due to an unproductive real estate climate and became aligned with The Prudential California Real Estate which soon thereafter was acquired by Coldwell Banker-Real Estate. Nigel is proficient and experienced in marketing and selling homes in the entire harbor area including Costa Mesa, Corona del Mar and Newport Beach, and extending out into Irvine and Laguna Beach.  Areas of primary focus are Corona del Mar and Newport Beach.

Nigel is an avid fitness enthusiast and runner who, since 1999, has completed seven 26.3 mile marathons plus numerous ˝ marathons, 10 K’s and 5K’s. He also enjoys ocean swimming, sailing his 44 foot ketch “Andante”, home, family and St Andrews Presbyterian Church where he has served as Ruling Elder and has sung in the Sanctuary Choir for 43 consecutive years.”
